About Tony

Tony has over 40 years of experience as a leader and manager in the public and private sector. He has managed technical projects and personnel throughout his career, and has organized several start-up projects and programs in various organizations. Tony has experienced and developed an appreciation for the pressures encountered by Leaders, Executives, Managers, and Employees at all levels in an organization. He has successfully integrated leadership and management techniques into his day-to-day activities, which he uses to help Executives and Employees, grow and develop. He also has worked with and led multicultural teams, which include Russia, Japan, Canada, Brazil, Italy, Scotland, The Netherlands, and Germany. Tony has developed a keen appreciation for the various cultural dynamics present in these types of teams and can facilitate them effectively due to his understanding of each culture and basic human behavior.

Tony is also a Senior Mentor at the Johnson Space Center’s Mentoring Program. In this capacity he mentors and coaches technical and administrative personnel, assisting them in the developing their careers and to deal with a number of issues in the workplace.


Tony served as a United States Marine for 21 years, with service in Viet Nam. He coaches military Veterans and their families in addressing transition to civilian life. Additionally, he assists Vets in dealing with issues that have evolved from their service. He does this by using complex systemic thinking and interactive facilitation to assist them in completing critical conversations so they can in turn move forward.

Tony is a member of the Houston Coaches, which is a charter chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and he subscribes to and aligns himself with the ICF Core Competencies and the ICF Code of Ethics. The ICF seeks to advance the art, science and practice of professional coaching.

Inquisitive, understanding, and supportive best describe Tony. He is inquisitive about life, people, and change. He understands the stresses of daily life and how to effectively deal with them. He supports people in recognizing that they have choices and to reach their goals. Tony’s Coach Approach is based on trust, results, and supportive understanding of what it means to be human. While Tony has an extensive background in the public and private sectors, for him it is all about helping people no matter what their calling in life. Tony enjoys interacting with people, travel, astronomy and photography.

Tony holds a Masters Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, a Bachelors degree in business, a Certificate in Human Resources Management, and is certified in Organizational Systemic Dynamics by the Institute of Integrated Systems Dynamics and the Bert Hellinger Institute of The Netherlands.
